Love in a Chair

A story of Despair, Hope & Love by Altimexis

Love in a Chair first appeared in 2005. It was my first attempt at writing gay fiction. I was incensed by stories I’d read that portrayed people with disabilities as helpless. Paraplegic teens can do just about everything. Now, I'm embarrassed by the simplistic plot, one-dimensional characters, sappy love and over-the-top sex. That said, it remains a good read. More importantly it sends an important message — that teens with disabilities are capable and worthy of love.
