John Francis (The Pecman)
John Francis is a writer and sometimes-video engineer who works in post-production in the film and television industry in Los Angeles. He confesses to having a keen passion for American pop culture of the last 40 years, particularly rock music, movies, and TV shows. He currently lives with his partner of over 20 years and two angry Siamese cats in the San Fernando Valley, just a few miles north of the city. Francis had more than 1000 articles published under various names in dozens of magazines over the past 25 years; Groovy Kind of Love is his first novel, which he confesses is "somewhat autobiographical."
Francis recently completed his second novel, Jagged Angel, which he hopes to publish through Aventine Press sometime in 2004. He hopes to start a third by summer.
