Jeremy Sanborn and Winston de Lacy, recent High School graduates, come from different circumstances and are unacquainted with each other. They are both well aware of the dangers that pursue them, however, and together they seek a place of refuge. In the midst of the deep forests of the north they discover that they have much in common — even if it is only to escape from people bent on doing them harm.
