Medellín

Summary

Medellín follows sixteen-year-old Hunter, an American who has been uprooted from Washington, D.C., to Colombia for his father’s diplomatic posting. Angry, isolated, and still processing past trauma, he’s caught between the insulated expat bubble and the vibrant, chaotic world of local teens.

When he falls for Miguel—a boy whose life is far more complicated than it seems—Hunter is swept into a romance shadowed by danger and moral reckoning that tests his fears, loyalties, and the dark realities beneath the city’s beauty.

Equal parts love story and psychological thriller, Medellín explores identity, trust, and the price of truth where innocence and corruption share the same streets.
