This story may have echoes for many of you who have read the classic tale by Thomas Hughes of life in a British Public School ‑ i.e. a private school ‑ in the 1840s. His tale explores the social mores and habits of the time and I hope my story may do the same but extend some of the sexual subtext which Hughes cleverly skirts.
