Aker (Akar):
Male. Early Egyptian in
origins. Appearances confirmed circa 2600 BC 2800 BC, but rumor suggest
his fledging was some time in the 4th millennia BC. For a time, he was worshiped
as the deification of the horizon by the peoples of Egypt. Mentioned by name
within the Pyramid Texts (3rd Millennia BC). Aker itself translates
as “(one who) bends.” Brief encounters with Aker have indicated his name is
quite apt. Seemingly Displays an ability to bend physical reality around
himself. A hymn within the Pyramid Texts associates him as:
A god who lives on his fathers,
who feeds on his mothers...
Possible fathers include Anubis,
Bast, Maahes, Sekhmet, Mahan.
Current whereabouts unknown.
