Mike — the original Awesome Dude — launched the awesomedude.com site in April 2004. Sadly, we lost Mike in September, 2023, to heart failure. He was 79 years old and had been in failing health.

But even though Mike is not with us to help celebrate the twentieth year of the site he did so much to create and build, as a way of thanking all the many others who have worked over the years to make AwesomeDude what it is today, we present this eclectic selection of stories, poetry, and history for your enjoyment and appreciation.

Twenty years is an eternity by internet standards, so it is appropriate that we celebrate this milestone.
