SPINNING GLASS

The spider spins its web,

Mastering its art.

Round and round it flies,

Taking time to do each part.

Interwoven lines connect,

It is a sight that must be seen

Glistening ropes of beauty,

Silver and picked clean.

Stunningly complex structure,

An element of fascination,

Something truly formed,

By ones’ imagination.

Glinting in the moonlight rays;

A flying creature comes to pass;

It will never see the light again,

Caught in the spider’s spinning glass.
