The
stories on this page are all about my own childhood, in particular
between the ages of ten and eighteen when I was at boarding school. I
count them as fiction although nearly everything described in them
actually happened to me just as described. But names and suchlike have
been changed to protect the innocent, and some of the guilty, and I've
re-arranged some things to make the accounts work better as stories.
